Continuing to Exceed Expectations

It has been over a year since I shared my experiences while wearing the JC Athletic Contact Shorts. I am still in love with them. The 2 pairs I know own, I am wearing 90% of the time.

I have worn them so much, UrbanGuyTO was convinced to get himself a pair.

FUCK COMPROMISE

One that I have been expertly avoiding, for a while.

I thought I would “compromise” (I don’t really know what or who I was bargaining with) by just taking out the NECESSARY – MUST HAVE laundry, do that right away and perhaps that would motivate me to just say, “fuck it, I will just do this second load and just be done”.

Nope!

Didn’t work. Because now I have 2 piles of laundry that BOTH look as big as the original pile was.

SO ABOOT THAT THEN…

[vc_row content_placement=”top”][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Something happened this week that caught me by surprise and I have kind of filed it away, yet it keeps “bubbling up” and I find myself more amused by it.

So here is what happened. (Wait for it….) *wink wink

I, have travelled a fair bit in my time (fuck this makes me sound old) and I have heard many accents but the one thing I have never heard was a Canadian say “aboot”.

Well unless it was “on purpose” to make a point.

I have listened for “it” at times but I never seem to catch it…until this past week.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”7467″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”7474″ img_size=”300×600″ alignment=”center” onclick=”custom_link” img_link_target=”_blank” link=”https://turnipteez.com/woof”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]I was gaming with some mates of mine and they were conversing among themselves; I was half paying attention to the conversation while tending to my “gaming responsibilities”.

It wasn’t until I heard “aboot” for the second time that I realised I had heard it a few moments before but it hadn’t really registered. Maybe I hadn’t really been paying close enough attention to be sure it wasn’t ironic?

But then I heard “aboot” for a third time and it for SURE wasn’t ironic.

I’m amused because, at the time, I was a passenger along for the ride that we can call my, sudden OCD and photographic memory. It was like a part of my brain just went on a tangent trying to replay snippets of conversation to figure out this mystery.

It was like the first time I heard “aboot”, in this background conversation, my brain was like that’s odd and carried on. Until, the second time. Wait a minute. And then the 3rd time omg they are really saying it like that…are they really saying it like that…did they just say that?

(honestly I had another chuckle at this point because I had another tangent where if I was driving a car, this is the point where I would turn down the radio so I could see the house numbers better)

Then the 4th time and it was like “omg …. yup they said aboot and they were saying about”

Anyway, back to the accent thing. I always felt like I was missing out, not being able to grasp what foreigners were always making fun of.

Now, I am glad to have heard it…will help me practise to make sure I don’t lose it and it is heard loud and clear.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

A ROSE BY ANY OTHER

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text el_class=””]Last night, I learned that the little grocery store down the street, adds a little Rose Water to their rice pudding.

Which is lovely; I just wasn’t expecting it.

However, I was left with an after taste, that reminds me of the smell in my grandmother’s guest bathroom with all the decorative soaps you were not allowed to touch.

FORTUNE COOKIE TURN

REVIEW: BLACK DIAMOND

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Unlike hitting the Alpine Slopes; this Black Diamond will not take you anywhere near screaming down a mountain, but rather, this Black Diamond will lull you into a big cozy hug, as you settle in to enjoy the rest of your session or slumber.

A very calming and subtle herbal flavour, familiar yet so subtle, the flavour at times is almost fleeting. You want to almost put your finger on the name and then it’s gone, but not before leaving you with a good comfortable feeling of; “yeah, I have been here before…what’s on TV?”.

I really wanted to put a name to this “sensation” of familiarity, yet all I wrote down was; “Escapingly Familiar”.

I sleep the best when I have had an evening vape session with Black Diamond. My body just seems to find “its happy place”, the aches and pains disappear and when my head hits the pillow, good night.

THE CRUISING IS STRONG WITH THIS ONE

The Right Tool for the Right Job

That does not always mean that there is only one way to do the job, and unfortunately, not enough men know about the various options that are available for jockstraps that are super comfortable and hard working as well.

LETS LOOK AT SOME STATS

POUCH: Cotton 95% Spandex 5%. Cotton Pouch with a slight mix of Spandex for the support I mentioned.

WAISTBAND: 3 inch elastic waistband

LEG STRAPS: 1 inch elastic leg bands

SIZING: Small (28-30 waist) to 3X Large (43-47 waist). Keep in mind that these are true to size so if you measure yourself you know exactly what to order. They are snug, but not restrictive, or suffocating. Having said that; I would recommend going up a size if you are in-between sizes.

What sets Omtex apart is that they offer a super comfortable double-walled cotton pouch for you to drop your shaft and balls in. Without a doubt the pouch is a lot sturdier and supportive than a regular pouch would be in a pair of briefs, or even a fashion jockstrap.

The full traditional 3 inch waistband is super comfortable and when wearing the jockstrap waistband in the proper place, my shorts were not sliding around all over the place or coming down off my ass while I was all sweaty and going for my run.

Also, while I was wearing the Omtex Gym Supporter as regular everyday wear, I noticed that getting up and down from my chair, with having the wide waist band sitting in the right place, my shorts were not coming down off my ass every time I stood up.

A JOCKSTRAP FOR THE MIND

(I think they were trying to be cute and funny; I am still not sure if I am laughing or not. Yet.)

Anyhoo – I am telling you that because, in this email, Betty & Ethel were telling me that they had an idea on how they could help me with my computer calamity. A while back, Ethel, in her classic “almost-but-not-quite” brilliance, jumped on the “just four fans” bandwagon. Yup. 4. Fans. Literally. As you can see for yourself, in the photos right here.

Well, we love Ethel. We love humour and we think, if you can not mix some humour with some sexuality, then we are in a sadder state of affairs than we thought.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text][adning id=”6178″][/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]So here is what Betty & Ethel did. They brought their classic “Just 4 Fans” t-shirt back out of the archives, but they added a little something extra with the curved hem. Which when you wear with shorts or jeans when out with friends at a back yard bbq – will look ever so cute!

However, what Betty & Ethel also had in mind, especially for the boys that like to wear the speedos and little trunks whilst at the pool parties, or the campgrounds and resorts. Just in case ‘the management’ requires you to put a t-shirt on to be served at the bar or to hit the buffet line; then here is the perfect little t-shirt to wear that will just catch and hug on your curves right where one might want to draw an admirers attention.

Well, that is what Betty & Ethel said.
