I NEED YOUR HELP WITH HEADPHONES

Hi there! I need your help. I need new “ear speakers” of some sort. The dude in this photo needs some serious help IMHO…it looks just way too cold to be out running around…

But seriously. I have been using some Jaybird X3 ear buds and I have not been happy since day 1. Okay maybe not day 1 maybe like sometime within the first 3 months.

Connectivity is the worst for these. I think that maybe, if being generous, 30% of the time I have worn these I had zero problems. Otherwise, I am always losing the connection, music or sound breaks up and either Spotify or Pocket Cast will stop playback.

Another issue is I have never been 100% thrilled with the sound. I know that I did not pay a lot for the Jaybird X3, however, I have some cheap headphones & earbuds in the studio for extra guests that have a richer sound.

What I want to do with these new “ear speakers” is wear them when I am out running errands or I am exercising. Be it walking and, if I am lucky enough, again when I am running. The biggest thing is I want to be able to hear the beat over the traffic zipping past me.

I think I prefer earbuds instead of over the ear. Especially in summer; but also for lack up bulk. If I am walking to the pub to meet my buds, I really don’t want to have to drag around my bulky headphones.

LUXURY YOUR SKIN CAN AFFORD

An opportunity arose for me to get my hands on some traditional Turkish Style Towels. Made from 100% cotton, they are super absorbent and they dry super fast; the biggest ‘catch’ is they are not “terry cloth”. The fabric is straight, flat, woven cotton. Plus, they are gorgeous!

I want to buy bolts of this fabric and make everything out of Turkish cotton. I mean everything like, my bed sheets, shirts, a big robe, towels and just so much more.

This summer the new habit will be when stepping out of the shower or out of the pool. One towel I will wrap around my waist and the other bunched up around my neck to dry my hair and then I am off.

Best way to dry off is to just let the fabric soak up the moisture from your skin instead of vigorously rubbing away.

MV is calling this the CLASSIC BOXER. Cool, but we think it looks more like a trunk cut. None the less these are the classic mix of a classic form fitted brief and the coverage of a boxer short. Care instructions…same!

Loose Boxers

These are great for wearing around the house when you need to cover up but you want to be loose and comfortable. While I can’t really get behind a dude wanting to wear these under his jeans…I sure am not going to complain when he slips off his jeans to get comfy on my couch in these…

Singlet

Yes. I have worn a singlet as underwear. Early 90s when Calvin Klein launched their singlet, cotton and stretchy material, I was wearing mine all the time. How did I go take a leak while at the bar you ask? Oh…easy…not without help! (wink)

Kimono

Keeping it simple for this garment. 3/4 length sleeve, functional pockets, removable belt is the classic garment when you are feeling super sexy and want to lounge around with a nice cocktail or your favourite strain. Perhaps a cigar…who knows! Don’t put this in the dryer unless to fluff it up…it will keep the fabric softer longer.

Robe

The robe offers you the BEST thing about getting into a proper “grown up” robe. It has a HOOD! That is luxury and you are WORTH it. Longer sleeves than the Kimono and slightly longer down the thigh as well. Functional pockets, removable belt and relaxed fit. No Dryer please!

Lounge Pant

Every dude needs a pair of lounge pants. I wear these in the winter when it is cold out and there just isn’t any way to avoid that nasty draft. I sometimes even wear them in summer. Slip them on after a swim in the pool and then grilling up some meat!

WORK UNDIES VS. PLAY UNDIES
We were just thinking and had a question about the underwear habits of our discerning readers.

We want to know if our guys out there have specific underwear habits and one of the questions that came up was…

Do Guys Have Specific Underwear for Specific Tasks?

Bare with us here a little. We all wear specific pieces of clothing or protective gear or work uniforms in some aspects of our life. Even something as simple as wearing different shoes when it rains.

Keeping that in mind do you have;
- work underwear (underwear that you only wear to work)
- play underwear (underwear that you only wear on your time off)
- workout gear (only referring to undergarments ie jockstraps only for working out)
