    PINK CELEBRATES THE RAINBOW

A friend of mine had to deal with a real winner of a homophobe piping up, just to get themselves some attention; try and rile up the homos and confuse them. Unfortunately, for the “phobes” the homos are prepared and are pushing back.

So I put this collage together for Instagram; with inspiration from my PINK Project at @TURNIPTEEZ.

This collection started from a need to find the perfect Pink Shirt for Pink Shirt Day and the story hitting a very close to home for me.

So here it is – I am putting out the Rainbow Colours.

This was supposed to be the collection I wanted to celebrate this summer. The ‘Rona’ had different plans for us.

The ‘Rona’ also requires a lot more patience and kindness on our part. Especially when we are dealing with others that may be struggling around us or are working to help keep us all moving forward.

Come by and take a look. $5 from the sale of every t-shirt from the PINK collection and 10% from the sale of all other items in the PINK collection will be donated to the TREVOR PROJECT from now until 31 December 2020.

REMEMBER – HOME MAY NOT BE A SAFE SPACE

I’ve been silent for a while. My priorities were drastically altered for me. My plan was to slowly work myself back into a routine here.

Today is not that day. This one is coming on full force.

I sat down to begin my day and I tuned into Pride Radio to listen to the Breakfast Show with host Peter Darrant.

This morning, while entertaining as always (including trying to dance to Utah Saints at 0430 my time, and not wake my neighbours), took a turn when Peter shared a story from a young queer individual that had to move back home to shelter in response to the global pandemic that is COVID—19.

This individual described that not only were their parents homophobic, they were, what I would call, religious fanatics. This individual goes on to describe the blatant abuse that they are subject to daily.

That broke me. Filled me with rage.

    Rage.

  • ANTI VIRAL TREATMENT FOR FLU & HIV HAVING EFFECT ON CORONAVIRUS

ANTI VIRAL TREATMENT FOR FLU & HIV HAVING EFFECT ON CORONAVIRUS

Last week I noticed someone posted the following on Facebook. I took it as another snide self important gay dude thinking he was a “know-it-all” bully that had to make fun of someone.

Posts like this are really beginning to push me over the edge. I’m losing my patience with the voracity in which people are so eager to be the one to make a smart or witty comment they end up looking like a complete twat themselves.

A few months ago, I had shingles. Exposure, I am sure, to more people that have not been vaccinated properly.

What is interesting, is that I responded immediately to the medication I was given.

The boost in immune response was attributed the high levels of anti viral and other medications in my system.

Now, before you say, “ya but..”

Yes, dudes have been foregoing condom usage, as they feel “protected”. Another conversation for another day.

In this case, let’s not all jump to conclusions, in order to be sure we don’t look an ass ourselves.

Maybe? Just maybe…there is some truth to the “overheard quip”.

I think though, that if this direction of research and treatment does show promise or even the resolution to this viral outbreak, we really need to sit down and watch what happens.

Will it sink in. That once again a faggot saves the day.
